AMAZE Brain Injury Group

We Meet at 1604 West Pinhook - First Floor
Across parking lot from Outback Steakhouse
Lafayette, LA 70508
We meet on the First Tuesday of the Month (see schedule image)

We come together to support one another while learning how we can feel better using
both new discoveries and practical methods as well.

In 2019, when someone has a brain injury in the US the recovery is hindered by the old saying to "wait it out" and "it's going to be ok?" Followed by the words we have been taught such as there is nothing else you can do to help with symptoms once your initial and secondary care runs out. People in Acadiana search us.

We are in this Together

Our goal is to increase awareness not only that Brain Injury requires more attention to catch up with all other chronic illnesses such the cancers out there as well as symptoms directly connected to brain trauma such as Anxiety, Depression, Insomnia, Muscle Spasms, and the list goes on. We bring to light the hope that Our society wins through education as well as bringing to the platform the dozens of helpful life giving modalities that are pragmatic and based on natural occurring elements.

Each brain injury is different

Everyone has fallen down only to get back up and keep going. But are those folks fully healed? We strive to enable critically needed discussion by engaging in public speaking as well as collaborating with fellow travellers exploring therapies that feed the brain to enable brain injury families. We are interested in working with business and individuals who are ready to raise awareness in Acadiana.

The cause is all in our heads. Almost

We see big potential in sharing what works so we can learn from each other how to gain a better brain.
Our unique mindset which is a refreshing view to brain health along with positive attitude filled with Hope enables families dealing with brain trauma the opportunity to seek a better life. Hence climbing out from the blinding lights of science and into a better approach that is now trending across the planet.

Over the past 9 years, AMAZE Brain Injury Group has proven that here is Hope for access to Support as well as Therapies to FEED the brain not just Treat it. The AMAZE Foundation solely supports a
special AMAZE Brain Injury Support Group here in Lafayette, LA where members bring their frustrated hearts to learn 1) that they are not alone 2) learn a cool way to thrive and live a bit better. We are AMAZE.

AMAZE Member Reviews:

AMAZE is a blessing for anyone who’s experienced the perils of a head injury. The sense of community, the compassion, and the exposure to modalities of treatment that have yet to reach the mainstream are absolutely invaluable. Lives have been changed, my own included, as a result of this organization. But here’s the thing, many of the people who’ve benefitted had been told at some point that there was nothing that could be done to improve their situation. Luckily, the folks at AMAZE oppose this stance, knowing well that this is often not actually the case. AMAZE gives an ear to those who thought no one was listening, a voice to those who have fallen silent, and hope to those who have become hopeless.
Don’t give up; instead, give AMAZE a try. Jordan

When I first started my new journey as a TBI survivor, I, like many in this situation, felt lost. Once I got connected with AMAZE, it seemed like the world opened up to me with little known ways to improved my life. Treatment and care methods for all the senses as well as nervous systems in order to benefit my brain and life? Absolutely! The interactions as the meeting with like minded people who are going through the same triumphs in life, be it on the survivor side or care giver side, gave such a peace every month to an otherwise chaotic life. May AMAZE continue to flourish and bring the life give services to more people!

Thanks for all the great stuff you are doing Paul. It really is a life saving tool. Kurt
